Located a couple of minutes walk from the Basílica de la Mercè, in the Gothic quarter and next to the eclectic Born district, the Catalonia Port hotel enjoys an incomparable setting. It occupies a building dating from the 18th century, with its colorful balconies overlooking the street, and which has the title of Artistic Heritage of the City. Inside, next to reception, you can admire the building's original door and stairs.

Among its elegantly designed rooms, there are some that preserve stone arches, which we have restored so that you can enjoy them. If you want an exclusive stay, choose our fabulous junior suite room, where you will enjoy a large terrace with panoramic views of Barcelona's maritime area, as well as an urban pool to escape the heat and outdoor furniture to relax.

With any of the other rooms you will have free access to the swimming pool of the Catalonia Port hotel, located in a charming garden patio that also has a solarium area with sun loungers. As well as access to our gym, equipped with cardio and fitness machines so you can continue with your workouts.

Every morning, our buffet breakfast awaits you in a very bright room with a tree in the light well and a beautiful mural of Barcelona's Port Vell on the back wall. Get energized with our variety of hot dishes, cheeses, cold meats and don't miss the famous potato omelette with tomato bread. We also have freshly squeezed natural juice, different vegetable drinks, options for diabetics and celiacs.

Take a break from your day and relax in the hotel's Gastrobar, with options of coffee, cocktails, and Mediterranean and international cuisine, perfect for fast food of the highest quality. If you prefer to stay in your room, room service will bring you whatever you fancy, including sushi and other Japanese delicacies.

In the Gothic Quarter there is a lot to see, you will be a few minutes walk from the Ramblas, Plaça Sant Jaume, the Mercat de la Boqueria or the Picasso Museum. If you are looking for fun plans to do with children, you can walk to the Barcelona Aquarium, the Barcelona Zoo, inside the Parc de la Ciutadella, or the Chocolate Museum. In addition, in 15 minutes on foot you will reach the bustling Barceloneta neighborhood, where you can enjoy a good paella or bathe in one of its beaches, such as San Sebastià.

At nightfall, nothing better than taking a walk through the fashionable neighborhood, El Born, visiting the impressive Basilica of Santa María del Mar and getting lost among designer shops, restaurants and bars where you can have tapas or a drink.
