Our position high above the sea lets you enjoy stunning views from the outdoor pool with a sun deck and from the terrace of the Gastrobar, ideal for something to eat or drink any time of day. Or if you prefer, there is also an indoor pool with a whirlpool bath and gym. Finally, there is the large Majórica Center, a convention venue that makes the hotel a meeting point for corporate events thanks to the 11 multipurpose rooms that can seat up to 700 people and the latest in audiovisual technology. In addition, we have private parking next to the hotel.

Did you know that the Catalonia Majorica hotel has its own funicular lift? Indeed, it connects the main street (Joan Miró) with the hotel and with our Majórica Center convention center, so that you can go up in the most comfortable way. The building dates from the 1930s and, in the past, the funicular was the classic yellow cabin, until in 2017 it was replaced by a modern elevator. As you will see upon your arrival, the hotel enjoys a privileged location on the Paseo Marítimo and the bay of Palma, with splendid views over the Dic de l'Oest, where most of the cruise ships that visit the island dock.

Our more than 160 rooms await you with all the comforts and a new decoration in the remodeled premium rooms, some of them with sea views. If you want to bathe on the hottest days while contemplating the incredible views of the bay, the pool terrace junior suite is your best option, as it has its own private terrace with a pool. On the other hand, the terrace junior suite is also a good choice, since you can relax on the Balinese bed on its terrace while you feel the sea breeze.

Staying in any of the hotel rooms you will have access to our outdoor swimming pool, next to the large solarium with hammocks and umbrellas from which you can continue enjoying the best views. In addition, for the colder months, we also have an indoor heated pool with a hydromassage area for you to bathe throughout the year. On the same floor you will find the gym, which will allow you to exercise and continue with your training plan.

The day begins after having breakfast in our large buffet, where you can taste hot dishes cooked at the moment in the show cooking section, local sausages and cheeses, traditional sweets such as ensaimada and freshly squeezed orange juice, among others. Enjoy the good Mallorcan weather on the terrace of the Gastrobar while having a cocktail or a glass of wine and admiring the views of the bay. You can also choose to have lunch or dinner some of the Mediterranean and international proposals on our menu, as well as dishes cooked on the grill in the summer season.

We offer you 11 multipurpose event rooms that can hold up to 700 attendees. All have abundant natural light and the latest audiovisual technology in screens, projectors and sound.

The Catalonia Majórica hotel is located just two km from the historic center of Palma, very well connected by public transport, where you can visit the imposing Cathedral of Mallorca, the Lonja de Palma or the Parc de la Mar. From the hotel you can walk to the Castell de Bellver, the Pilar and Joan Miró Foundation museum and the Porto Pi shopping centre, ideal for shopping.

We help you rent a car so that you can tour the island at your own pace and visit some of the most charming towns, such as Valldemosa, Sóller or Pollensa. If you prefer the beach, don't miss the nearby Cala Major, just 5 minutes from the hotel by car, or the not-so-known Portals Vells beach, 20 minutes away. At night, why not go out dancing?
