Stay in the real Madrid at the Catalonia Las Cortes hotel, built above a former eighteenth century palace that was home to the Duke of Noblejas. We have completely restored this beautiful building, keeping the main staircase and indoor frescoes. It is also set in a prime location, just a five-minute walk from the Prado Museum and a little more to Plaza Mayor.

The Catalonia Las Cortes hotel is located in the former residence of the Duke of Noblejas, an 18th century mansion, which we have completely restored so that you can stay in complete comfort. As you will see, the building retains its noble character, including the original entrance to the palace, next to our small library. Thanks to the rehabilitation work we have been able to recover the spectacular main staircase, which will leave you speechless, as well as the moldings and mirrors that decorate it. The wooden floors of the distributors have also been preserved and, on the second floor, you can admire the stained glass windows of the old chapel.

The frescoes inside have been completely restored and are currently distributed in the hotel suites, among which the imperial suite stands out, located in the main area of the old palace, with a large separate living room and bedroom and a bathtub whirlpool where you can relax after a long day.

In addition to the suites, you will also find preserved frescoes in our 2 event rooms, Noblejas and Echegaray, which can host anything from corporate meetings to private celebrations. Nothing better to surprise your guests than the magnificent period paintings on the ceiling of the halls, which are equipped with the latest audiovisual technology so that everything turns out perfectly.

Don't skip the most important meal of the day at our breakfast buffet and, if you fancy a snack, at the Catalonia Las Cortes hotel we offer you a free snack area open until night with a variety of sweet and savory bites, as well as drinks. Go out to the interior courtyard of the hotel, where you will find a beautiful vertical garden and tables where you can enjoy a snack or one of the dishes on the menu in our Gastrobar.

The Barrio de las Letras houses the Catalonia Las Cortes hotel, in the heart of the most traditional Madrid. The building is strategically located in the Art Triangle, 5 minutes from the Prado Museum and also close to the Thyssen Bornemisza Collection and the Reina Sofía Art Center.

The district concentrates in its arteries the rhythm of a big city and, in turn, the bohemian spirit that characterizes it.
