Built in 2004, the Catalonia La Maquinista hotel has spacious and bright rooms, all decorated with wood and warm tones and equipped with Chromecast so you can watch your favorite content during your stay. Choose one of our premium rooms, recently renovated with a modern touch and with a rain shower in the bathroom so you can relax after your day in the city.

Every morning our breakfast buffet awaits you so you don't miss the most important meal of the day. It will be difficult for you to choose among the variety of hot dishes such as eggs, sausages or bacon, local cold meats and cheeses, the assortment of pastries baked in the hotel itself and many more options, including vegetarian and gluten-free.

From Monday to Friday at noon you can enjoy the menu that we offer at La Maquinista restaurant, with Mediterranean dishes that vary every week such as ham croquettes, salmorejo, veal cheeks or sweet rice. If you feel like having a drink during the day, come to the Gastrobar and we will serve you whatever you prefer, a coffee, a cocktail, a glass of wine or something for dinner from our international menu.

Discover our new wellness space that we have created for you to come and relax your body and mind. Opened in 2023, it offers a water area with hydromassage jets and sun loungers, a sauna, a Turkish bath and massage cabins. In the latter you can choose between à la carte body treatments and rituals and, in addition, we have a double cabin so you can enjoy massages as a couple. On the other hand, we also have a new gym where you can continue with your training schedule.

Did you know that the Catalonia La Maquinista hotel is a good place to hold business meetings? We have 2 modular event rooms that can accommodate up to 80 attendees. In addition, they are equipped with the latest audiovisual technology so that you can organize everything from conventions to team-building activities. The hotel also has its own parking lot in the same building so that parking is not a problem.

Located a few minutes from the Ronda de Dalt and the Ronda Litoral, the hotel is perfectly connected by road with the rest of the city and with other points of interest on the outskirts of Barcelona. Next to the hotel is the La Maquinista shopping center, which has a wide variety of shops of prestigious international brands, as well as cinemas, restaurants and a wide variety of leisure activities.

In addition, the Sant Andreu neighborhood is one of the most authentic in the city, it was an independent town until 1897. It is worth visiting the renovated church of Sant Andreu del Palomar, which has one of the most beautiful domes in Barcelona. Don't miss the old Fabra i Coats factory, currently converted into a contemporary art center, or take a walk through La Pegaso park.
