On October 26, 2017, Great Place to Work Mexico presented the Ranking of the Best Places to Work in Mexico 2017 for the Millennial Generation.
The so-called Generation “Y” better known as Millennial Generation has come to make a big difference in the workplace.
The Millennial Generation is currently part of the largest segment of workers worldwide, and are redefining the climate and organizational structure of companies.
Some of the characteristics of “The Millennials” are:

- They look for autonomy in the work

- Capable of multitasking
- Greater academic and professional preparation

They look for an organization that offers them the freedom to do their own work, that they can develop their creativity, and that in turn make them feel valued in the workplace so they can continue to advance within organizations/companies, always accompanied by a leader, not of a boss, and a pleasant work environment.
In Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, we have not been the exception and we have among our collaborators a large percentage of this generational group since we always like to be in constant evolution.
That is why today we can announce that for the second consecutive year we entered the ranking of “The Best Places to Work in Mexico 2017 for the Millennial Generation”, this time we obtained the 10th place nationally with more than 500 employees.
This recognition makes us proud to know that we are on the right track, and above all that our Values and our Mission are compatible and get along well with all the generations that we currently have in our human capital.
This year, we also obtained the 8th place in “The 100 Best Places to Work in Mexico” ranking, in the 500 to 5,000 employees category.
