Every March “Earth Hour” is celebrated worldwide, and since Catalonia Hotels & Resorts is an ecofriendly Company, we joined the celebration taking care of the Planet.
We have always been concerned about the environment that surrounds our Resorts in the Dominican Republic and in the Riviera Maya, that’s why we organized ecological and fun activities to celebrate the “Earth Hour”, involving all our guests and employees, with the intention of raising awareness of this important global event.
This next Saturday March 19th, we’ll start the activities inviting guests and staff to clean our beautiful beaches. Together we’ll get them look clean and wonderful as ever.
It’s a huge task because you can not imagine the amount of trash you can find on the beach. Most of this waste end up in the sea affecting dangerously the marine life.
We love the presence of children in these activities, it is very important for them to learn and participate in these actions and take care of the Planet where they’re going to live.
Supporting their participation, we invite you to plant small trees in our gardens, helping with the care and conservation of the flora’s region.
During the day, you can enjoy great fun ecological activities on the beach and at the pool area. Exercise with us and help us commemorate this special day for our Planet Earth.
