At Catalonia Hotels & Resorts, we are always trying to find new ways to take care of the environment in order to coexist with nature. That’s why our Caribbean Resorts seek to produce their own resources.
In Catalonia Royal Tulum, we take daily care for the preservation of our green areas. Therefore, we are working in a nursery and an innovating vertical garden, where we grow plants for late reforestation and conservation.
Our Resort, which is located in one of the most beautiful beaches of the Riviera Maya is considered to have an exotic tropic style for the variety of colors that can be seen in the open areas, due to the plant diversity found in them.
Since we are starting this eco project, our vertical garden is growing mostly green plants, but the plan is to start planting exotic colorful new plants soon. (We are learning fast).

The small nursery is builded with wood boxes called huacales (in Spanish) which contain young blossom plants that will be located in different areas of the Resort when they get big and strong enough.
