Our Resort only adults, located in the beautiful zone of Punta Cana, Catalonia Royal Bavaro, is the ideal scenario for couples looking for the dreamed place to get married.
In this occasion we want to share with you the story of a couple that arrived our Resort, looking for a very special place to make a big dream come true, Julio & Daniel.
We met Julio & Daniel when they visited our Resort Catalonia Royal Tulum at the Riviera Maya in Mexico. They are two successful bloggers from Canada, foodies, experts in fashion and lifestyle that have traveled many places and had fun experiences.
Their respective blogs are Fashionights by Julio and Do The Daniel by Daniel.
In this occasion, they decided to visit Punta Cana and arrived Catalonia Royal Bavaro the past November 29th, along with their dear friend Gracie Carroll.
We welcomed them by the Resort’s Lobby and our Guest Experience Manager, Carmen Parra, made them feel at home at that moment, then a foamy beer was served to toast for their arrival to Paradise.

MEETING OUR RESORTS AT PUNTA CANA
In their second day at our Resort, they relaxed and enjoyed everything. Also, they visited the neighbor Resort, Catalonia Bavaro Beach, with a 100% familiar environment, ideal to spend some unforgettable holidays.
A great rest from all the activities was taken at the Pure Chill Out Bar, exclusive for Privileged guests, where having some chocolate and coffee martinis were taken.
Julio & Daniel told us that they chose to dinner at the A la Carte Yuca Restaurant, that offers Caribbean cuisine specialties. It happened to be their favorite, they loved the decoration and all the magic flavors.
SURPRISE WEDDING
That same day they surprised us with a very special and thrilling petition: “We want to get married!” We got very excited and we made a quick date verification to check for availability. Later that afternoon we confirmed that a wedding could be arranged just like they wished for.
Now the great challenge was to organize a wedding in less than three days. How did we do that? Our Wedding Planners Team is highly professional and started the work immediately to achieve satisfying the Canadian fiancees and made their great dream come true.
The boys’ only request was everything to be in white, everything else was trusted to our Wedding Experts, Evelyn y Bianca, which they were sure will make a great job.
We got hands to work and jointly with the kitchen team and other departments as public relations, bars, restaurants, maintenance, animation, and security, we made the right team combination to make Julio and Daniel to live the most magic and unforgettable day of their lifetimes.
When we thought about decoration, we took the fiancees petition into action and manage to set everything perfectly. We used elegant and fine fabrics that were the focus point for the entrance and the main decor of the gazebo.
With pink rose petals, tropical flowers and pelisses carpets in the gazebo and entrance, a beautiful majestic way to the altar was achieved. At the gazebo table we used details of baggage racks and for the table centers, we used details of flowers and seashells.
Julio & Daniel walk down the altar over soft and white sand while listening as background the song “Diamonds” interpreted by Daniel’s Best Friend.
Th seats for the guests were decorated with delicate white ribbons and corsages around. Each one of the assistants was able to take with them beautiful wooden fans as souvenirs of this unique moment.
Our Wedding present was to offer them a very funny photo shoot after the ceremony, in which was captured in every shot the happiness and excitement that was lived at that instant.

WEDDING PARTY AT THE PEARL BEACH CLUB
After a beautiful ceremony with the Caribbean Sea as the witness, we surprised the husbands and their guests with an exclusive party at the new Pearl Beach Club at Punta Cana, just beside Catalonia Bavaro Beach.
We offered a delicious dinner and a wonderful wedding cake made of vanilla and filled with strawberry jam, covered in white cream.
They didn’t know, but we reserve for them a very special area so they could enjoy the music and fun that only the Pearl Beach Club could offer. The party went almost until the sunrise, these new husbands were happy to conclude the best day of their lives.
